Corrections

Pages here get things wrong. This is how to report one, and what happens after you do.

Report an error

Write to [email protected] with the subject line Correction. What makes a report actionable in one pass:

  • The page — its full address, or just the exam name and year.
  • The specific line that is wrong, and what it should say instead.
  • Where the correct version comes from — ideally a link to the board's own notice or corrigendum, or the advertisement number and page of the PDF.

The last one is what decides how fast it gets fixed. A report carrying the official document can be verified and corrected the same day; one without it has to wait until the document is found, and if it cannot be found the page is not changed.

What we do with it

  1. Check it against the source.Every correction is verified against the recruiting body's own notification, not against the report and not against another website. A change we cannot find in an official document is not made.
  2. Fix the page, not a copy of it. The existing page is amended in place. No second page is created, and the original address keeps working.
  3. Record it.The change is added to that page's update history, with the date of the notice that supports it. Corrections are not made silently — the trail at the foot of every page is the record.
  4. Reply. You get an answer either way, including when we conclude the page was right.

A material error — a wrong last date, fee, vacancy count or eligibility rule — is treated as urgent, because those are the ones a candidate acts on. Typos and wording are fixed in the ordinary course and do not get a history entry.

What a correction cannot do

FresherHub can correct what FresherHub published. It cannot change what a board published. If a notification itself carries an error, or has been superseded by a corrigendum, the page will be updated to match the current official document — the department is the only authority on its own recruitment, and its website is the last word before you apply or pay.

We also cannot help with an individual application: a rejected form, a fee that did not go through, a name mismatch on an admit card or a result query all have to go to the board that ran the recruitment. Every page links to the relevant official portal.

If you hold rights in material you believe is reproduced here without permission, write to [email protected]with the page address and a description of the material, and it will be reviewed. Facts taken from government notifications — dates, vacancies, fees, eligibility — are not copyrightable and are not removed on that basis.
