The application mode is online, through the MP Online website.

  1. Visit the MP Online website (www.mponline.gov.in) and go to Citizen Services > Application > ESB link.
  2. Read the Instructions and Examination Rules carefully before proceeding.
  3. Click the 'Continue' button to start filling the online application form.
  4. Fill all required details correctly. Do not leave any field blank.
  5. Prepare a scanned image with your photo, signature and two lines of your own handwriting, as per the given format, and upload it.
  6. Re-check all filled information before you submit it.
  7. Click 'Submit' to send your application. An Application Number will be generated.
  8. Click 'Proceed to Payment' and pay the fee by Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. If online payment is not working, use an authorized MP Online kiosk.
  9. Save and print the computerized receipt and a copy of your application form.
  10. Download the Admit Card from the Board's website (www.esb.mp.gov.in) using your application number, before the exam.

Documents Required

  • A scanned image with your colour photograph, signature and own handwriting, combined as one file.
  • 8th/10th/12th mark sheet, as proof of your date of birth.
  • Caste/category certificate, for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, from a competent authority.
  • Other certificates needed for reservation, age or qualification relaxation (for example, Ex-serviceman or Home Guard service certificate).
  • A certificate for priority or bonus marks, if you are claiming them (for example, NCC 'C' certificate).
  • A self-declaration, typed or written in your own handwriting as asked, uploaded with the application.
  • An original photo ID to carry to the exam (Voter ID, PAN card, Aadhar card, Driving Licence or Passport).
  • Your Aadhar card, e-Aadhar, Aadhar photocopy, or Aadhar number/VID details, to carry for biometric verification.
  • A photocopy of the first page of your bank passbook, only if you are SC/ST/OBC and claiming travel fare reimbursement.

Important Instructions for Exam Day

  • Aadhar registration is mandatory for every candidate.
  • An original photo ID is mandatory for exam entry. e-Aadhar is valid only if it is verified by UIDAI (the body that issues Aadhar).
  • Multi-level biometric (fingerprint/face) verification is mandatory at entry and during the exam. Keep your Aadhar unlocked for this.
  • You will be allowed entry only up to the reporting time. Late arrivals will not be allowed in.
  • Mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, sunglasses and any cheating material are not allowed in the exam hall.
  • Your eligibility in the computer-based exam is only provisional. The concerned department checks your documents later.
