How to Apply
- Go to the MP Online website, www.mponline.gov.in, or visit an authorised MP Online kiosk.
- On the home page, click 'Citizen Services', then 'Application', then click the ESB link.
- Read the Instructions and Examination Rules given there.
- Click the 'Continue' button to start filling the online application form.
- Fill in all required details. You cannot submit the form if any field is left blank.
- Prepare one scanned image with your photo on top, your signature below it, and two lines in your own handwriting. Save it as a .jpg file and upload it using 'Browse'.
- Re-check all the details you have filled before submitting.
- Click the 'Submit' button to submit your application.
- Pay the exam fee and portal fee online by card or internet banking, or pay cash through the kiosk operator.
- After payment, save your Application Form Number. Keep a printed copy of your application and payment receipt safely.
- Later, use your Application Form Number to download your Admit Card (Test Admit Card) from the Board's website, www.esb.mp.gov.in.
Documents Required
- Colour photograph, signature, and a sample of your own handwriting.
- 8th, 10th, or 12th mark sheet as proof of date of birth.
- Caste or category certificate, for SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates, from a competent authority.
- Disability certificate for Divyang candidates, from a competent authority.
- Scanned copy of your original appointment order, with its number and date, plus the DISE Code of your posting place.
- Unique ID or IFMIS Code — compulsory for government school teachers, not compulsory for private school teachers.
- A handwritten declaration, in the format prescribed, uploaded with your application.
- At the exam: an original photo ID — Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, or Passport. e-Aadhar is not accepted.
- At the exam: your downloaded Admit Card (Test Admit Card).
- At the exam: a black ball-point pen.
Important Instructions for Exam Day
- You must be currently in-service for the post you applied under. Wrong information, or more than one application, can get you rejected.
- Aadhar registration is compulsory. You will go through biometric checks at entry and during the exam, so keep your Aadhar unlocked.
- You will not be allowed inside without an original photo ID proof.
- No mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, sunglasses, log tables, or chits are allowed inside the exam hall.
- Entry stops at the reporting time. Latecomers will not be allowed in.
- Your photo must be recent (less than 3 months old), colour, white background, with both ears visible. Wear spectacles in it if you normally do, but not dark glasses. Your signature must be full, and must match the style you use at every later stage.
