4. Register with a valid email address using 'New Registration', then follow the on-page instructions
5. Login with your credentials to use the Online Application Portal
6. Pay the Rs.500 fee (if applicable) through SBI Collect in favour of 'Director, CSIR-NGRI', selecting GOVT/PSU/COURTS, then All India, then National Geophysical Research Institute, then Application Fee for Technician(1) Advt. No. 01/2026
7. Upload a latest passport-size colour photo (plain background, not a selfie), your signature, and all relevant certificates where asked
8. Check and edit the application to make sure it is correct, then update your payment details
9. Click 'Final Submit' to send your form; no changes were allowed after this
10. Keep a printout of your completed form; do not send a hard copy unless asked later

• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen certificate in the prescribed Government of India format, if applicable
• Form of Declaration from OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, along with the community certificate
• Judgement/decree and Affidavit, for widow/divorced/judicially separated women claiming age relaxation
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer, if you work in CSIR/Government/Autonomous Body/PSU
• Certificate for Age Concession, if you are a regular employee claiming it
• Discharge Certificate (scanned copy), for Ex-Servicemen
• Any other certificate that supports a claim you made in your application

Important Instructions

• Only one application is allowed per candidate per post code; if you used different email IDs, the latest application counted and other fees were lost
• SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen pay no fee, but must upload the relevant document; applications without the correct fee were rejected
• If you work as a regular employee in CSIR/Government/Autonomous Body/PSU, you must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC), or your candidature was not considered
• Once you submitted the form, no correction or change was accepted
