What This Recruitment Is About

Canara Bank has released a notification for engaging Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the financial year 2026-27. The notification was issued on 25 September 2026.

Stipend During Training

Selected apprentices get a monthly stipend of Rs. 16,650, including any subsidy from the Government of India. Canara Bank pays Rs. 10,500 of this directly into your account every month. The remaining Rs. 6,150 is the government's share, sent to your bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

How to Apply

Follow these steps in order. The window is open from 01.10.2026 to 17.10.2026.

1. Register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in) if you have not already, and make sure your profile is 100% complete.
2. Note down the enrollment number you get after NATS registration. You will need it later.
3. Visit the Canara Bank website, go to Careers, then Recruitment, and open the Graduate Apprentice FY 2026-27 notification page.
4. Click 'CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION' and fill in your basic details.
5. Note down the Provisional registration number and password the system gives you.
6. Upload your photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm) and signature as per the given specifications.
7. Upload your left thumb impression as per the given specifications.
8. Upload a hand written declaration, following the exact text given in the notification.
9. Enter the enrollment ID from your NATS registration when applying for a training seat.
10. Fill every field carefully. Use 'SAVE AND NEXT' to check your details before you submit.
11. Pay the application fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets.
12. Click the FINAL SUBMIT button. You cannot change anything after this.
13. Take a printout of the payment e-receipt and the completed application form.
14. Keep this printout, along with your Registration Number and Password, safe for later. Do not send it to the bank.

Documents Required

Keep these documents ready before you start the online form.

• Printout of your submitted online application
• Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate or SSLC/Std. X Certificate showing Date of Birth)
• A Photo ID card (Passport, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, or any other Photo ID from a statutory authority)
• Mark sheets and certificates from SSC exam onward, up to your highest qualification, including every semester or year mark sheet and your final degree certificate
• Income and Asset Certificate from a competent authority, if you are applying under the EWS category
• Caste Certificate in the prescribed format, if you are applying under SC/ST/OBC (OBC certificate must have the non-creamy layer clause)
• Unique Disability ID (UDID) card and Disability Certificate from a Medical Board, if you are applying under the PwBD category
• Original age relaxation certificate and photocopies, if you are claiming age relaxation
• Any other document that supports your eligibility
• Scanned photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm)
• Scanned signature
• Scanned left thumb impression
• Scanned hand written declaration

Important Instructions

• Only candidates with a 100% complete NATS portal profile can apply. No other way of applying is accepted.
• Submit only one application. If you submit more than one, only your latest valid completed application counts.
• Do not write your signature or hand written declaration in CAPITAL LETTERS. It will not be accepted.
• An incomplete application, such as a wrong photo, signature, thumb impression, declaration, or failed fee payment, will be rejected.
• You cannot change any detail after you submit your online application.
• Apply well before 17.10.2026. Do not wait for the last day, in case of technical problems.

Eligibility

You must be between 20 and 28 years old as on 01.09.2026. Some categories get extra years added to the upper age limit.

You need a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Govt. of India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Your degree must be passed not earlier than 01.01.2023 and not later than 01.09.2026.

• You need at least 60% marks in your 12th standard or Diploma exam.
• SC/ST/PwBD candidates need at least 55% marks in 12th standard or Diploma.

You must be between 20 and 28 years old as on 01 Sept 2026.
