How to Apply

  2. Click 'CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION' and enter your basic details. Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. These are also sent to you by email and SMS.
  3. Upload your photograph, signature, left thumb impression, a hand written declaration, a brief resume in pdf, your SSC/SSLC/10th certificate, and documents proving your identity and eligibility, following the exact specifications given in the notification.
  4. Capture and upload a live photograph using a webcam or mobile phone during registration.
  5. Fill in all details carefully. Use 'SAVE AND NEXT' to check and change details before you submit. No change is possible once you click 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION'.
  6. Click 'COMPLETE REGISTRATION' only after checking every field.
  7. Pay the Rs 1000 fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets, or UPI.
  8. After payment, an e-receipt is generated. Print the e-receipt and the filled application form.
  9. Keep your printout, Registration Number and Password safe for later use. Do not send these to IBPS.

Important Instructions Before You Apply

  • Submit only one application. If you submit more than one, only your latest complete application is accepted, and fees paid for the extra applications are forfeited.
  • No change or correction is allowed once you submit the online form.
  • Your photograph must be 4.5cm by 3.5cm, recent, in colour, sized 200 x 230 pixels, and between 20kb and 50kb in file size.
  • Your signature must not be in capital letters. It must be sized 140 x 60 pixels, between 10kb and 20kb in file size.
  • Write your hand written declaration in your own handwriting, in English only, and not in capital letters. Otherwise your application becomes invalid.
  • Bring the original Call Letter and Photo Identity Proof, with the same name as on your call letter and application, to the exam and every selection stage. A Ration Card or Learner's Driving Licence will not be accepted as ID proof.
