The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (ESB), Bhopal has released the Rule Book for the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026. This test is only for in-service teachers of primary and secondary classes, in both government and non-government schools, who have not yet qualified TET.
How to Apply
- Read the exam Rule Book carefully before you start filling the form.
- Go to the MP Online website (www.mponline.gov.in) or visit an authorized MP Online kiosk to fill the form.
- Select your State and District as asked in the form.
- Fill in your personal, educational, and category details. Also add your body identification mark and photo ID card number.
- Enter your Aadhaar card number or Aadhaar VID. This is compulsory.
- If you are a government school teacher, fill your appointment order number and date, DISE Code of your posting school, and your Unique ID or IFMIS Code.
- Scan and upload your photo, signature, and a handwriting sample as asked in the form.
- Upload a declaration written in your own handwriting, as shown in the Rule Book.
- Check every detail carefully before you submit the form.
- Click Submit to save your application.
- Pay the exam fee and portal fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or cash at a kiosk.
- Save a printout of your submitted form, application number, and payment receipt.
- If you need to correct any detail, do it only within the correction period, using your application number, transaction ID, and date of birth. A correction fee applies.
- Download your Admit Card from the Board's website www.esb.mp.gov.in using your application number, once admit cards are released.

- A colour photograph, signature, and a handwriting sample (scanned copies).
- 8th, 10th, or 12th mark-sheet as proof of your date of birth.
- Caste or category certificate, if you belong to SC, ST, OBC, or EWS category.
- Disability certificate, if you are a Divyang (person with disability) candidate.
- A scanned copy of your original appointment order.
- DISE Code of your posting school.
- Unique ID or IFMIS Code, if you are a government school teacher.
- An original photo ID card — Voter ID, PAN card, Aadhaar card, Driving Licence, or Passport. You must bring this to the exam hall.
- Your Aadhaar card, e-Aadhaar, Aadhaar photocopy, Aadhaar number, or Aadhaar VID.
- A printed copy of your downloaded Admit Card.
- A black ball-point pen to bring to the exam hall.
Important Instructions for Exam Day
- Aadhaar registration is compulsory. There will be multi-level biometric checks at entry and during the exam.
- You must bring an original photo ID. An e-Aadhaar printout alone is not accepted as the ID you carry to the exam hall.
- You will not be allowed inside the exam center if you arrive after the reporting time.
- Mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, sunglasses, and chits are completely banned inside the exam hall.
- You must submit only one application. Giving false information or submitting more than one application can lead to rejection.
- You cannot leave the exam center before the exam ends.
- No re-totaling or re-evaluation of marks is given after the result is declared.
