The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released this notification for Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The advertisement number is E/37/2026-C-2, dated 10.09.2026.

This exam fills posts of Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police, Sub-Inspector (GD) in forces like CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, and SSB, and Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF.

How to Apply

  1. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the Commission's website; OTR from the old website will not work.
  2. After OTR, fill in the Online Application Form for the Examination.
  3. Submit the Application Form only in online mode, either on the SSC website or through the 'mySSC' mobile app.
  4. Opt for Aadhaar-Based Authentication while completing OTR; this is advised.
  5. Capture a live, real-time photograph during the application process. Do not wear a cap, mask, or spectacles.
  6. Upload your scanned signature in JPEG format, sized 10 to 20 KB, about 6.0 cm width by 2.0 cm height.
  7. Use the Preview/Print option to check all details, your photograph, and signature before final submission.
  8. Pay the required fee online, if you are not exempted, by 01.10.2026 (23:00 hrs).
  9. If you need to correct your form, use the correction window from 08.10.2026 to 10.10.2026, and pay the correction charge online.

  • For OTR, if not using Aadhaar authentication: Name proof, Date of Birth proof, Address proof, Photograph, Gender proof

Important Instructions

  • Only one online application is allowed per candidate. Multiple applications lead to rejection or cancellation.
  • Write your name and date of birth exactly as recorded in your Matriculation/Secondary certificate. A mismatch may cause denial of entry or cancellation.
  • Applications with wrong photographs or blurred signatures will be rejected. This rule does not apply if you used Aadhaar authentication.
  • Submit your application well before the closing date. SSC is not responsible if the website is slow near the deadline.
  • Fee once paid is not refunded under any circumstances, and cannot be adjusted against another exam.
